I'm pleased to announce that as of 22nd September we are opening another class in York. Mark Bednarski will be running the class which will be on a Thursday evening, at Southlands Methodist Church, on Bishopthorpe Road. 7.00pm - 8.30pm. This will give exsisiting students the opportunity to do some extra training and will hopefully attract some new students who maybe can't make the Tuesday evening at Guppys. I hope some of you will be able to attend the opening night, give Mark your support and take the opprtunity for some extra training. Please ask if you need further details. A flyer will be available soon and it would be greatly appreciated if you could take one to put up somewhere near where you live or work.

First Training Camp

Last weekend was our first training camp this year. It was a great weekend. This is the first time we have used this venue, and i have to say i think we will be using it again. Although the facilities were somewhat lacking, (but then it is a pub not a camp site) the training and camping areas were good. Peter and Danielle (the managers) were fab and made us very welcome. The weather was good for the training sessions with it only raining at night mainly, but we were in the pub by then! (or the tent) The pub may be earmarked for closure so it was good for us to support it. We will definately be back next year if they can manage to keep it open. Good luck. Thank you also to those of you who very kindly gave others a lift. So, if you didn't make it to this camp our next one is over the Bank Holiday weekend in Aug. That'll be the 26th, 27th, and 28th. Leaving you the bannk Holiday monday to recover! This time at our usual venue in North Yorks. A flyer will be going out shortly with the details. More pictures of camp are on the gallery.
